Our First event was held at Horse Creek Resort on Dale Hollow Lake. Decemb er 8, 9 and 10, 2006. The Event featured Bob Coan who has appeared in over 60 articles on the Float and Fly and who is responsible for the Coan Rig, using a 3 way swivel to rig the Float and Fly and the inventor of Bob's Bobber. Also at the Seminars was Stephen Headrick, and Jim Dicken owner of FloatAndFly.com and Editor of Fishin.com
The event was so successful that we have decided to make this a twice yearly event for anyone who wants to learn the Float and Fly Technique.

Ellwood and his partner display some Float and Fly Smallmouth that they captured and then released.
One Rainbow Trout of around 3.5 pounds was also caught during the week.
The Tournament was won by Brent Isley who caught a 22.25 inch 4.82 pound smallmouth on a Perch Colored Float and Fly tied by Billy Elkins.
